Chocolate Chip Cookies

Suitable for vegetarian diets.*

Makes 30 pieces.

0.75 cups sugar
0.75 cups brown sugar
1 cups butter softened
2 eggs beaten
1 tsp vanilla essence
2.25 cups flour
1 tsp baking soda
0.75 tsp salt
2 cups cooking chocolate chopped into small pieces
walnuts if desired
pecan nuts if desired

Preheat oven to 180°C. Miix butter, sugar, vanilla and eggs together. For best results use your hands. Stir in flour, baking soda and salt. Stir in chocolate chips and nuts. Line baking try wtih baking paper. Drop heaped-tablespoon amounts of dough onto the tray about 2 inches apart. Bake 8-10 minutes, or until done.
