Nut Burger Patties (Special diet)

NOTE: Check to ensure rice amount is dry-weight - reduce if necessary or it will show up wrong on the shopping list.

Suitable for onion free, tomato free, vegetarian, and vedic diets.*

Makes 1754 g.

100 g walnut pieces
100 g pumpkin seeds dry-roast
100 g sunflower seeds dry-roast
65 g tamari
500 g yoghurt
5 g asafoetida
5 g thyme
5 g sage
5 g rosemary
200 g gluten-free breadcrumbs
225 g short grain rice

lightly toast bread and chop in blender to make bread crumbs Cook Rice in rice cooker Pulse walnuts till resemble course crumbs. Dry roast pumpkin and sunflower Add cooked rice and rest of ingredients and combine well. if too sticky add more breadcrumbs. Shape into patties, put on greased trays and bake until firm and cooked. (half hour) Weigh 100 g on scale for pattie size Label vedic Watch pattie size to get correct number
